Inishowen designers Lara McLaughlin and Caoimhe Doherty are giving preloved clothes and textiles a new lease of life as fashionable womenswear.
Lara and Caoimhe, both sustainable textile technicians with Síoraí circular economy hub in Carndonagh, will launch the Saol Arís collection this weekend.
Their collection of handmade bags, waistcoats, jackets and scrunchies will be available at a sustainable fashion pop-up in Carndonagh Garden Centre by Spraoi agus Spórt this Saturday 28th February.
Saol Arís, which translates as “life again”, captures the ethos of the collection, giving discarded textiles a renewed purpose through thoughtful, high-quality design.
