Síoraí is an Irish word (pronounced Sheeree), meaning something that is unceasing or continual, it has no end. This is a pillar of the circular economy.
Our mission is to adopt principles of the circular economy into our community in Inishowen, Co Donegal, creating a more sustainable local environment. By doing this we’ll attempt to reduce waste, reuse products and find new uses for items instead of sending them straight to landfill.
What is a Circular Economy?
A circular economy is a model of production and consumption, which involves sharing, leasing, reusing, repairing, refurbishing and recycling existing materials and products as long as possible.
In this way, the life cycle of products is extended.
