Síoraí (pron Sheeree) is the Irish word for continual or everlasting – what the circular economy is all about. Reducing what we buy, re-using what we have and recycling what’s discarded, creates a more sustainable local environment.

At Spraoi agus Spórt we aim to bring these principles of the circular economy into the heart of our community in Inishowen, Co Donegal. At Síoraí, we aim to reuse and find new uses for discarded items instead of sending them straight to landfill.



What is a Circular Economy?

A circular economy is a new approach to how we use our resources. It aims primarily to reduce waste and dumping, by extending the lifetime and use of materials and products. It involves sharing, leasing, reusing, repairing, refurbishing and recycling as much as possible, for as long as possible.



In this way, we can reduce the impact of consumption on our environment.

Our vintage shop was founded in 2016 and has contributed an estimated €600,000 to the local economy.

We offer quality goods at affordable prices and reinvest the proceeds to provide inclusive services and resources.

We stock preloved closes and shoes for men, women and children, books, furniture, bric-a-brac and baby equipment.
