We are delighted to announce our September programme for people age 16 and over who identify as having a disability, or a need for additional support.
Office Ready with Slí
An eight-week practical programme designed to help participants develop workplace skills. The course covers office administration, communication, organisation, digital skills and working effectively as part of a team in an office environment.

Thrive with Slí
Retail with Slí
Covers key retail skills including customer service, stock handling, teamwork, communication and building confidence in a retail setting.
Thursdays 11am – 2pm

Study with Slí
A calm, supportive study space for people completing online or self-directed learning who may need additional support to stay on track.
Fridays 11am – 1pm

Craft with Slí
A relaxed six-week programme where participants learn to make their own candles and soaps in a supportive environment.
Wednesdays 11am – 1pm

WHO CAN APPLY?
Supporting people of all ages with disabilities
The Spraoi WorkAbility Programme supports people age 16 and over who identify as having a disability. Spraoi WorkAbility aims to support individuals on their path to employment through education, training, and professional development.
Spraoi WorkAbility participants will undergo an assessment of their skills and interests, and a personalised, progression plan will be created to guide their progress. Each participant will have access to a range of workshops and classes to upskill or learn new skills. They will also be supported in gaining employment, work experience, or volunteer placements that suit their long-term goals.
Spraoi agus Spórt will be delivering the Spraoi WorkAbility Programme over five years from 2024 – 2029.

I would recommend the WorkAbility Programme to anyone living in Inishowen. The programme provides the skills you would need to get back to work after being unemployed for a long time. It also gets people involved in activities going on locally. It is open to anyone with a disability and the environment is safe and supportive with friendly staff.
